TRIDEC joins JOST World
With the integration of the Dutch company TRIDEC, JOST World will expand its programme of systems, modules and components for the commercial vehicle to include systems for forced steerings and independent wheel suspensions. The corresponding agreement has already been signed by the Managing Director of TRIDEC, Toon van Genugten, and the CEO of JOST World, Lars Brorsen.
Subject to the approval of the Monopolies and Mergers Commission, JOST World GmbH with headquarters in Neu-Isenburg (Germany) will acquire the entire company of Dutch TRIDEC BV with effect from January 1st, 2008. Van Genugten, who also founded the company, will remain the Managing Director. He views the agreement with JOST as meeting all the requirements to enable continued longterm growth of the manufacturer of forced steering for trailers and independent wheel suspensions. â€œIn JOST we have found a partner with an outstanding set up worldwide in both production and sales of components for the commercial vehicle industry. Lars Brorsen is pleased to welcome TRIDEC as another strong and successful product brand into the JOST Group. In addition to already existing markets, we aim to offer the successful systems for forced steering and independent wheel suspensions to new markets.â€ TRIDEC is currently predominantly active in Europe.
TRIDEC is a synonym for forced steering systems
