The four JOST World brands were represented with their proven product range and several innovations. For the first time, JOST presented a biodegradable high-performance lubricant for fifth wheel couplings, the Optima – a new landing gear for long-distance transport – and sensor solutions for the ultralight JSK 34. In the field of axles, the weight-optimised DCA-T7 disc brake, the JOST Plug & Play solution for tyre filling systems and the JOST Twin Lift were premièred at the trade fair.
TRIDEC presented the new EF-S steering system, which offers entirely new possibilities for driving and manoeuvring. The new, double-acting CD cylinders from Edbro were the highlight of the hydraulic systems specialist’s presence at the IAA. ROCKINGER showcased its award-winning and diverse portfolio of towing hitches.
At the innovation stage, JOST impressed the trade fair visitors several times a day with a demonstration that allowed them to experience the automated KKS coupling system in action with the TRIDEC EF-S steering system. The interaction of the two smart solutions provides a glimpse of the future-oriented technology from JOST World – on the road to the autonomous docking system (ADS).
