ROCKINGER towing hitch RO*400 Easy Mount - super simple, simply super
The RO*400 is a real classic among the ROCKINGER towbars. It is the best-selling 40 mm towing hitch, which is weight-optimised and easy to handle. With the RO*400 Easy Mount, ROCKINGER is launching a new variant of its standard 40 mm hitch, which enables significant time and effort savings during installation.
Up to now, the towing hitch was delivered to the customer pre-assembled, but had to be disassembled again in order to screw the mounting bearing to the crossbar from behind. The hitch was then plugged in, but had to be additionally fastened with a central nut, which in turn had to be tightened to a defined torque and documented.
ROCKINGER innovation saves time and money
All these steps are now unnecessary! In future, the RO*400 with compact bearing will simply be inserted into the crosshead from the front and the fastening bearing will be fixed with four bolts and nuts - this saves time and money for the users.
"Additional fastening with the centre nut, its cross-securing and the documentation of these torques, as before, is completely eliminated, which not only significantly shortens the assembly time, but also considerably simplifies assembly," explains Dieter Raab, long-time product manager at ROCKINGER. This also avoids occasional incorrect mounting, which in turn increases safety.
