What is JOST doing in the area of sustainability?

Sustainability is embedded throughout our organization and operations, and we are committed to minimizing the impact of our activities along the entire value chain.

We actively use our industrial expertise and product portfolio to contribute to addressing global challenges such as climate change and to support the transport, agricultural, and construction industries in becoming more efficient and sustainable.

In the past year 2025, JOST continued its progress in the sustainability sustainability journey: 

• Our Scope 1 and Scope 2 CO₂ emissions including the newly acquired Hyva Group amounted to 38,427 t CO₂e.
• CO₂ emissions per production hour reached 2.76 kg CO₂ / prod.-h.
• For the first time, JOST analyzed and calculated its groupwide Scope 3 emissions
• The share of renewable energy in total electricity consumption resulted in 16.1%
• Energy, water, and waste performance indicators are systematically tracked and integrated into risk management processes.
• JOST maintained a high level of occupational health and safety, with strong overall safety performance in 2025.
• ESG governance is anchored through clear structures, including Executive Board accountability and incentive schemes, and coordination via the ESG Council.
• The Sustainability Report 2025 was prepared with reference to the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS) on a voluntary basis.
